The New Covenant

"When he had received the drink, Jesus said, "It is finished." With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit." John 19:30

The Holy Spirit rained down on the hearts and lives of a City Light Church congregation last night, bringing those of us to our knees and to our feet in complete adoration for the Glory of God, the Light of the World, Jesus Messiah, Emmanuel. It poured out in the streets and over the searching and lost East Village crowd, saying Come, Come, Come rest easy in His finished work.

It was a Great Friday.
