Crayola Box

"Yet for us there is one God, the Father, from whom are all things and for whom we exist, and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things and through whom we exist."
1 Corinthians 8:6

My little brother made a comment I quickly scorned and then later thought about the peace it could possibly bring....as the Coexist bumper sticker becomes a running joke.

He said in his 19 years of wisdom. "I want to be surrounded by people who think and believe like me. The people that say God Bless You when you sneeze."

Then I thought about all the fun he would miss...

He would miss the skinhead with the Swastika on his neck walking his mangy pitbull with balls the size of my head down First Avenue.

He wouldn't walk past the Muslim men all rushing the 11th street Mosque to pray together in unison before charging the Halal Food Stand.

The 300 pound tattooed black woman in a chartreuse strapless dress with combat boots singing opera wouldn't even be a faint memory.

Naked Jewish women at the 14th Street Y with their wrinkled bellies covering their full bush while discussing the best egg bread for the least amount of money could never occur before his virgin eyes.

And he would never dance under the dim stars with the vagrants of Tompkins Square Park singing...

You gotta live for the one that you love you know.
You gotta love for the life that you live you know.
I said Hey, Hey, Hey. Don't let another moment pass away. MF

Red, Yellow, Black, and White. Aren't they all precious in His sight?
