Awake and Aware

"I went past the field of the sluggard,  past the vineyard of the man who lacks judgment; thorns had come up everywhere,  the ground was covered with weeds, and the stone wall was in ruins.  I applied my heart to what I observed and learned a lesson from what I saw A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest and poverty will come on you like a bandit and scarcity like an armed man."
Proverbs 24:30-34

The greater distance you create between you and your money, the less you will have.

Pull weeds daily after heavy rains, or your work will become insurmountable. And you will fall behind them.

Empty your junk drawer more than once a year.

If your morbidly obese and you lose 100 pounds, don't be offended if people don't notice.

Do what you say and say what you do.

Discern between your wants and needs. And live by them.

Give more than Get.

Evaluate your staying power.

Having a good cry while glorifying your Lord is worship well spent. Do it often.

Possess pride in your true self. And breathe in a view.

Relish a genuine laugh.

Don't be strong armed.

Drink full strength beer. Eat Basil from your own garden.

Take notice of the wildflowers return.

And know from the depths of your soul, you are where you are supposed to be. Right now.

Would you be glad for the day...if the day was your last?
