Does life really get in the way of our pursuits?
The driving energy force here in Rabun County is visited upon individuals. There are those who need to break out and be in NYC. There are those who got here as fast as they could and are tapping all their creative energy and talents to be able to make a life here. This is what I have seen in the artists that find that they can give their art weeks and months of undivided attention by being chosen to live at the Hambidge center. Hambidge had one of numerous fund raisers yesterday. Our weather was so agreeable that more than 400 supporters came out and bought art, listened to art and created art. U DO RAKU. The proceeds will go to house and feed artists from all over the world for the time that they are able to give themselves away from their responsibilities elsewhere.
