Nobody Right, Nobody Wrong

"In his pride the wicked does not seek him; in all his thoughts there is no room for God." Psalm 10:4

"Let their lying lips be silenced, for with pride and contempt they speak arrogantly against the righteous." Psalm 31:8

"When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom." Proverbs 11:12

"Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall." Proverbs 16:18

"The end of a matter is better than its beginning, and patience is better than pride." Ecclesiastes 7:8

"The arrogance of man will be brought low and the pride of men humbled; the LORD alone will be exalted in that day." Isaiah 2:17

A high and unwarranted opinion of one's self dignity, importance, and merit valued in one's mind or outward conduct is a paradoxical emotion and the ultimate "destructor" of relationships.
Haughtiness hinders humility and is in direct contrast to laying it before the cross.

We're all guilty.

"Remember you have to reach high to be risen.
The day you let go is the day you are forgiven.
So they say you got to chose your side and, when its done....nobody right. nobody wrong."
MF

So tell me, is it worth it?
